Rochester Electronics is hiring immediately for a Semiconductor Assembly Machine Operator (multiple positions, Entry level and experienced)
Temporary position with the potential for conversion to a permanent role within 30 to 60 days .
As an Assembly Operator you have:A high school diploma or GED is required; previous experience in electronic/semiconductor assembly experience helpful.Positive, team-oriented attitude . As a Rochester employee it is expected that the individual represents, supports, and encourages the Rochester culture by adherence to work policies and practices set forth within the companyStable work history . We consider individuals with proven track records and commitment; we have never had a layoff!Basic computer skills . Every Operator will utilize computer-based manufacturing systems to move products and enter data including Microsoft Office software suiteAbility to communicate verbally/written . Needing to define specifications or written/verbal instruction. Report daily outcomes and accomplishments to managementPay close attention to detail.
You will be screening, visual inspecting measurements, and sorting of semiconductor devices
As an Assembly Operator you will:Operate manual, automatic, and semi-automatic microelectronics assembly equipment with supervisionInspection of die and packages to various Military and Jedec standards using high and low-power microscopesFollows defined specifications and reaction paths or written/verbal instructionUse multiple hand tools to process delicate products without damaging components manuallyTrain other employees on basic equipment operation and assembly processMaintain well-organized and audit-ready work areasUtilize computer-based manufacturing systems to move products and enter data
