Senior Grants Accountant-Hybrid in DC!About the Company and Opportunity:Our client is a healthcare nonprofit organization.Due to leave, they are hiring a Sr. Grants Accountant in their Washington DC headquarters.Duration: 2-3 monthsPay $40-42/hr depending on experience!Hybrid (2 in, 3 out)This organization loves to promote from within!Some of the employee reviews, include things like:

Overview of the Grants Accountant role:Oversee the preparation and timely submission of grant reporting and applications.Ensure compliance with the rules and regulation provided from the administrator/federal government.Grant monitoringAssist with quarterly and annual regulatory fillingsAccounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, assist with reporting and external auditAd hoc projectPreferred Qualifications for the Grants Accountant:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of grants experienceNonprofit experienceBlackbaud Financial Edge is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills
