We aim to make the world a better, more connected place.CNN's Digital Products & Services group is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Strategy for Digital Business to help realize our ambitious revenue goals. Reporting to the SVP of Strategy & Business Operations, this pivotal role will drive revenue growth across all areas of our digital business, with a particular focus on advertising and subscriptions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving business growth in the digital space. They will play a crucial role in shaping the future of CNN's digital offerings, working closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies that capitalize on emerging opportunities in the rapidly evolving media landscape.Your Role Accountabilities…Drive Revenue Growth:
Partner closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams to identify and implement strategies that drive revenue growth across all areas of the digital business, particularly in advertising and subscriptions.
Team Management:
Lead, develop, and manage a team of internal strategy experts, fostering a culture of innovation, strategic thinking, and providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team’s success in achieving strategic goals.
Spearhead Strategic Initiatives:
Structure and execute ad-hoc strategic initiatives by developing comprehensive work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading detailed analyses, developing actionable recommendations, and establishing new operating cadences where necessary.
Drive business expansion:
Oversee the creation of robust business cases for new market, country, or partner entry, expansion, or exit, ensuring thorough analysis and strategic alignment with business goals.
Annual Planning and OKR-Setting:
Lead the annual planning process and OKR-setting across several cross-functional teams, including Growth and Advertising, to ensure alignment and focus on key business priorities.
Qualifications & Experience…Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in management consulting, business strategy, or related fields; or 8+ years with an advanced degree.
Proven track record (8+ years) of developing business strategies and managing cross-functional initiatives, preferably in media or digital industries.
Extensive experience (8+ years) working with executive stakeholders in fast-paced, results-driven environments.
Demonstrated success (4+ years) in team management and leadership.
Deep understanding of digital subscriptions and advertising business models.
Strong background in media, tech, or consumer products industries.

Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $147,980.00 - $274,820.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
