Information System Security Officer, Senior
in the Reston, VA or Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling area to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) for our customer's CI/HUMINT efforts.Roles and Responsibilities:Perform as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and report to agency Chief Data Officer for the team.Demonstrated expertise in agency Cyber and Security Front Door (CSFD), Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Approval to Operate (ATO) processesDemonstrated in-depth experience in using Xacta and proven records of completing an end-to-end RMF process and obtaining ATO certificates for multiple systems.Possess strong knowledge of DoD/IC system functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures.Ensure systems and users are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with agency security policies and practices outlined in security plans.Develop tools that manage all security-related incidentsResearch protective or corrective measures when a security incident or vulnerability is discovered.Develop system recovery processes and ensure security features and procedures are properly restored and operated.Ensure system security requirements are addressed during all phases of the software development life cycle.Follow procedures developed by the agency ISSM, authorizing software, hardware, and firmware use before implementation on the system.Develop security requirements for data science model life cycle (e.g. AI/ML Ops) and streamline the process for its ATO certification.
Required Qualifications10+ years of experience and a MA/MS degree.
