The Director of Dining Services oversees and coordinates all activities and functions of the Dining Services Department. This position is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and participating in the effective preparation and service of high qualify meals while enforcing proper sanitation and safety procedures in accordance with State and Local regulations. This position will also ensure that residents receive quality meal services and food in accordance with the mission and philosophy of the Ministry.We love our Staff!

As a Dining Services Director you will be responsible for:Responsible for adequate staffing for all shiftsPrepares monthly inventory and statements; figures total monthly costs and weekly invoice transmittals; forwards to finance departmentResponsible for daily ordering of food and suppliesManages the dining services personnel in a proactive human resource function, observing and evaluating performance, conducting staff meetings, ensuring employee motivation, training and development, effective two-way communication, job understanding and satisfaction, etc. in compliance with established labor regulations.Monitors and evaluates employee production and quality of performanceHires and trains food service personnelDevelops and implements the policies and procedures for the dining services department, ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulationsReceives requests for special luncheons and functions ensuring that they are prepared and serviced properly and on time; keeps track of the cost analysis of said functions.Monitors the performance of the department through verification and analysis of resident satisfaction systems and financial reports. Initiates corrective action.Advises Dietary Personnel regarding food substitutions and menu changesAssists in the formation of menus and control of foods costs and wasteRecommends or institutes changes in techniques or procedures for more efficient operationOther duties as assignedWe are currently looking for
