As a Kitchen Dispatcher at Luxor, you'll be responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of inventory and products in the kitchen. From receiving and logging food deliveries to restocking inventory and maintaining organization, your role is key to keeping the kitchen running smoothly. This is an on-call position that requires a detail-oriented, self-managed individual who can communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen leadership.THE STARTING PAY: $20.7308 Per Hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:Receive and log food deliveries, reconciling products with packing slips and communicating any discrepancies to the Chef.Restock and rotate inventory in the kitchen and storage areas, following first-in, first-out guidelines.Maintain cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and storage spaces.Communicate regularly with leadership and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations, utilizing radio communication when necessary.Take ownership of tasks and work autonomously to ensure that the kitchen is always prepared with the necessary products.Handle packaging, trash, and debris removal related to product deliveries.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:Must be at least 21 years of age or older.Comfortable working in a back-of-house environment.Able to manage time effectively, pay attention to detail, and follow specific instructions from kitchen leadership.A strong communicator who can work independently while also collaborating with chefs and kitchen teams.Previous experience in a similar role or environment is preferred, but not required.Flexible to work on-call shifts.
