Project Superintendent-Commercial Construction

Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Superintendent to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. As a Superintendent, you will oversee all phases of construction, ensuring that projects run smoothly and safely while maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day operations on the job site, ensuring that work is performed safely and efficiently.Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met.Oversee scheduling, material procurement, and workforce management to ensure timely project completion.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.Provide leadership and direction to on-site personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.Communicate regularly with clients, architects, and engineers to address any issues or changes in project scope.Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, logs, and safety records.Ensure adherence to all local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.Mentor and train junior staff as needed to promote professional development.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.Minimum of [5-10] years of experience in commercial construction supervision.Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects from start to finish.Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency in construction management software and tools.OSHA 30-hour certification and other relevant safety training preferred.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
