The Benefits & Leave Management Specialist will be responsible for the tracking, administration and accuracy of the Roquette Americas benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401(k) plan, and other benefits as determined. This role primarily services the United States but may have intermittent responsibilities across Canada, Brazil and Mexico.This position is located in Philadelphia, PA or Keokuk, IA.What We Offer:A highly collaborative team environment with ample room for exponential career growth.Competitive pay, annual performance bonus, comprehensive benefits, 6.2% company retirement contribution, and professional development opportunities.Generous paid time off and 12 annual paid company holidays.12 weeks 100% paid maternity leave, and up to 4 weeks 100% paid parental leave (including adoption/surrogacy/foster care leave) for non-birthing parents.Student loan repayment assistance and tuition reimbursement program for select roles.Annual wellness benefit and wellness centered programs focused on your health needs.What You'll Do:Performs quality checks of benefits-related data.Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes.Assists in distribution of benefits enrollment materials and eligibility determination.Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges.Reviews and processes life status changes across the employee population.Fosters productive, efficient and cost-effective partnerships with vendors and manages vendor contracts.Manages internal employee documentation where appropriate and as related to benefits enrollment actions.Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities.Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork such as medical, personal, disability, FMLA, and worker's compensation.Responds to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts. Manages the annual catch-up contribution enrollment.Administers the tuition reimbursement program.Works in partnership with other departments such as Shared Services, Finance and Legal to effectively answer inquiries, prepare reporting and/or problem-solve issues as needed.Process invoices related to benefits processes where applicable such as vendor payments and leaves of absence.Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to:Ad-hoc data analysis, PowerPoint slides or presentations based on manager or client requestsSupport Compensation Manager and HR team with Client relationships and other deliverables such as annual budgeting and forecasting, annual and mid-year compensation administration, promotion processes, off-cycle adjustments, bonuses and Pay Equity.Create and maintain process outline documentation and ensure accuracy.What You'll Need:Education:Associate's degreeExperience:Minimum of 5 years' experience in Compensation or Benefits administrationProficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong technical acumen: ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of data and provide relevant and concise summaries.Strong analytical acumen: ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of data and provide relevant and concise summaries.Position TypeThis is a full-time position.Business Travel:Up to 10% business travel will be requiredAAP/EEO StatementRoquette is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
