You just found it.Job Function Summary:The Product Manager is the voice of the customer in the Life Science division supporting the Getinge Aseptic Solutions (GAS) team. This key position reports to the Managing Director and provides business and sales support for the product portfolio. In addition, this position is responsible for defining products and the commercialization of the products. This position is also responsible for the market position of the products, identifying the price points and promoting the products. The strategic duties include managing the market adoption and the product life cycle. Along with the other key stakeholders the PM is ultimately responsible for the product portfolio's overall success and profitability. This role requires strong leadership and proven track record of negotiating skills while gaining cooperation of others within all the appropriate cross functional teams in Getinge Life Science.Job Functions:Responsible for the commercialization of new productsCreate product strategy and roadmap plan.Develop a product technology development plan.Develop a market driven product definition.Manage product requirements.Collaborate with cross functional teams and Getinge teams.Develop market requirement specifications.Collaborate with Research and Development team to share voice of customer (VOC) feedback and report/inform market requirements, important trends and competitive information.Support sales and distributors at customer meetings, exhibitions, seminars, and conferences to include product support, trials, demonstrations, and presentations.Develop and track product business case.Measure and implement product time to market strategy.Work with the marketing team to develop and maintain marketing deliverables and campaigns focused on generating revenue.Monitor and report relevant product KPIs and product ROI.Manage products positioning and establish competitive profitable pricing models.Oversee product launch activities.Monitor and report on product budget, forecast and year-over-year growth.Manage the phase in and out planning.Identify and examine competitors' pricing strategy and distribution channels to gain competitive edge.Create and update product specifications and datasheets.In accordance with leadership, develop the pricing strategy.Create the product improvements roadmap.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:Bachelor's degree preferably in engineering or another technical field or an equivalent combination of education and product management work experienceA strong technical background and an understanding of the development process in the bioprocessing industryAt least 5 years of similar experience within the bioprocessing industry focusing on business-to-business sales.Experience in market segmentation and product life cycleProven track record of determining customer requirements and translating them, through the development process.Solid track record of building pricing strategiesExperience with all types of promotional approaches and creating branding.Successful relationship management and sales supportAn understanding of distribution requirementsExcellent writing and presentation skillsAbility to influence and communicate with people at all levels in an organization.Estimated travel of 40%. Must travel as required to customer sites, training events, trade shows, etc. (routine air travel required); must be able to operate an automobile (valid driver's license required) and hold a valid passport for international travel.
