THE ROLE:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and inventory control, with proven experience in conducting inventory inspections, utilizing inventory management systems, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of stock levels.

Reporting to the Inventory Control Supervisor, the Inventory Specialist will be responsible for performing cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and procedures for effective inventory management.

This position reports to the Inventory Control Supervisor, and is located onsite in Ontario, California.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the purchase of warehouse supplies, including packaging materials, safety equipment, and office supplies.Conduct regular inventory inspections to ensure accuracy and integrity of stock levels in the warehouse.Maintain inventory records and reorder supplies as needed to ensure continuous operations.Conduct regular inventory inspections to ensure accuracy and integrity of stock levels in the warehouse.Utilize inventory management systems and tools to track and monitor stock movements.Perform cycle counts and spot checks on inventory items to identify discrepancies promptly.Support the Inventory Control Supervisor with investigations of inventory discrepancies .Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, adjustments, and findings.Support the Warehouse Manager and Inventory Control Supervisor with coordinating project-related tasks and ensure deadlines are met.Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency in inventory management.Assist in the implementation of inventory control policies and procedures.Participate in training sessions for warehouse staff regarding inventory management practices and procedures.Qualifications:

Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or related field.Familiarity with inventory management systems and software; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred and experience with NetSuite is a plusStrong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.Ability to speak Chinese is preferred.Keys To Success:

$23.10 - $28 an hour
