Job Summary
The Assistant Director is a key member of the Full-Time MBA recruitment team, which coordinates all facets of the applicant experience for prospective students as well as develops and maintains relationships with internal and external partners to achieve key objectives. Serves as a lead for on-campus and virtual event programming for prospective students to the Full-Time MBA program.
Responsibilities
Serves as an integral member of the Admissions Committee. Conducts student recruitment, evaluation, and yield activities. Duties include reading and evaluating applications; traveling domestically and internationally; and attending and hosting various recruiting and yield events.Oversees the Full-Time MBA campus visit program as well as various on-campus events for prospective students. Works with faculty and staff across departments to coordinate visits and events, and develop new opportunities for on-campus engagement.Leads coordination efforts to optimize group visits from third-party organizations, as well as supports recruiting events at the Harper Center for other Booth graduate programs.Oversees execution of virtual recruiting events for Full-Time MBA prospective students.Partners with marketing and operations teams to develop new initiatives and continue to improve visitor engagement throughout the year.Oversees the Full-Time MBA student volunteer program, and recruits and trains student volunteers.Monitors and manages an on-campus event budget.Recruits and/or evaluates applicants for admission by interviewing, reading applications and summarizing evaluations. Completes these tasks independently or with some guidance and instruction from others.Travels and recruits in an assigned geography, assisting with planning and delivering public presentations, special events, and other recruitment activities.Performs other related work as needed.
