Gilchrist Global Strategies has a great job opportunity to work as a Paralegal supporting the work performed by the Department of Justice (DOJ). You will work supporting attorneys in various stages of case preparation and management, from discovery through trial.
Responsibilities/Duties
Compile, prepare, and summarize relevant materials for attorneys to use in discovery and in the preparation of motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Summarize depositions, transcripts, and maintain case files.Conduct basic legal research and ensure the organization of document discovery, including management of materials received and produced.Track exhibits and materials at depositions and trials and prepare exhibit cross-references.Assist attorneys in the courtroom and review documents for relevance and privilege as per established guidelines.Compile documents for various requests such as FOIA, Congressional inquiries, and production requests.Requirements
US CitizenshipMust be able to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials/authorizationA Paralegal Certificate, at least three years' experience in a legal environment.Proficiency with various computer applications, including word processing, databases, and spreadsheets is necessary.Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Basic familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources
