Redwood Credit Union is looking for a Business Account Services Manager who will be responsible for strengthening business relationships by overseeing sales efforts of cash management products and services to both existing and prospective Credit Union Members. Lead and manage a team of Business Member Advisors to achieve target goals and deliver an outstanding Member experience. Develop and implement effective sales strategies, build strong relationships with Members and internal team members, and ensure alignment with department goals. Collaborate closely with the Vice President of Business Account Services and other departments to enhance Business Account Services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Business Services Development
•Lead and mentor a team, providing support to enhance their performance.
•Work with Branches, Business Development, and the Business Services teams to grow new and existing business relationships.
•Manage all business products and services such as ACH/Wires, Remote Deposit Capture, Payroll, Merchant Services, and Positive Pay.
•Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
•Analyze industry trends and continuously enhance the Credit Union's competitive edge by exploring and implementing innovative solutions tailored to business Members' needs.
•Utilize and maximize Salesforce to drive revenue and build relationships with Members and team members.
•Identify and target potential business Members within the Credit Union's membership and local business community.
•Collaborate with Marketing to promote Business Services to include marketing materials, organizing events, and participating in community outreach to attract business Members.
•Provide consultative guidance on products and services, payment solutions, and business accounts.
•Regularly connect with Members to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
•Provide training and education to team members and Members on new products, services, and processes.
•Ensure that all business services comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
•Track and report on sales performance, revenue, and market trends.
•Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
•Resolve problems through analysis of data, identification of root cause(s), evaluation of options, rendering of decisions, and implementation of the action.
•Ensure compliance with pertinent government rules and regulations.
Other Functions
•Contribute to special projects, research, and analysis.
•Provide general training to RCU team members as needed.
•Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts in the community, including volunteer centers and non-profit organizations.
•Participate in community events, community volunteer boards & associations.
•Volunteer time in the community.

Minimum Qualification: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong communication abilities and presentation skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain credibility and engender trust.Excellent negotiation skills.Skill in the operation of a personal computer with proficient word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software abilities.Ability to use Salesforce software to track and report on sales performance.Ability to analyze problems and opportunities, identify and evaluate alternatives, and develop sound, practical approaches.Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate achievement of goals, objectives, and work plans.Ability to effectively drive multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Ability to supervise and coach team members.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a diverse environment.Ability to be out in the field 90% of the time.Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, turn and drive.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator.Work environment is indoors; majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk.
The ideal candidate has a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or closely related field and a minimum of eight years' experience in business services, including business development.
Compensation:
Base starting range: $134,742 to $177,530 annually commensurate with experience.
Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity.
