Requirements
Bachelor-s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
Three+ (3+) years of experience working as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer in development, design, and prototyping requirements OR three+ (3+) years of experience working as a Computer Engineer in development, design, and prototyping requirementsPossess a current DoD Secret security clearanceExperience developing, testing, and supporting various digital signal processing and Radio Frequency (RF) applications such as antenna design, RF path analysis, Software Defined Radio (SDR) applications, low noise amplifier, mixers, turner evaluations, receiver, transmitter, digital filtering, analog filtering, and analog and digital signal modificationsExperience programming and configured one of more of the following:MicrocontrollersField Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs)System on a Chip (SoC)Platform on a Module (PoM)Single board computers such as VME, VPX, and PXIExperience designing and developing one of more of the following:RF Cable AssembliesPrinted Circuit Boards (PCBs) and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)Possess a current Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearanceExcellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills

Five + (5+) years- of experience working as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer or Computer Engineer in development, design, and prototyping requirementsExperience in the one or more of the following toolsets:Modeling Software: MATLAB, SimuLink, MathCADRadar Signal and Data Processing ToolsetsExperience in one of more of the following:Threat System AnalysisModel development to match intelligence assessments, including waveform scheduling, correlation/tracking and signal processingRF signals processingRF algorithms/logicSystem performance assessments of major subsystems including but not limited to phased array antennas, transmitters and receivers, RF signal processors and computer algorithms/logicExperience and knowledge of power systems, to include fuse panels, disconnect switches, ground fault indicators, transformers, power junction boxes, cables, connectors, connector plates, stuffing tubes, and feed-thru connectorsThree (3) years of experience supporting DoD or Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) ProgramsUnderstanding of root cause analysis of RF systems and interoperabilityUnderstanding of the design and development of power-based hardware solutions to solve and optimize different voltage and current requirementsKnowledge of sensor signal processing, signal detection, probability - statisticsKnowledge of sensor integration, shooter, and command and control systemsKnowledge of sensor array processing methods, antennas, and propagationThorough understanding of NSWC operations
Description
PRIMARY DUTIES - RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs a variety of analyses of technical engineering data. Interprets the data, verifies product documentation, designs, layouts, or drawings for adequacy and reliability in one or more of the following areas:
RF systems requirements generationRF systems hardware developmentRF design and developmentRF systems integration and testing
Develops, documents, and recommends solutions or improvements for technical RF engineering problems of moderate scopeResearches and prepares draft and/or finished engineering presentations, reports, process studies, or technical information used for such things as program reviews, design reviews, and proposal activitiesInitiates, develops, and maintains active interfaces and coordination/exchange of technical information among multi-disciplined engineering groups, subcontractors, and/or the customer. May assist in delivering presentations to management and/or the customerAnalyzes, develops, and maintains technical databases and supportive engineeringProvides basic theoretical understanding in one or more of the following areas:
Radio wave propagationDigital signal processingRF and/or digital hardware design and integrationThreat RF systems exploitationCommunications theoryWaveform development and modelingElectronic Warfare systems
