Join Jack Henry’s 10-week summer internship to support the owned and leased properties. You’ll sharpen your skills, grow your network, and collaborate with leaders shaping the future of the industry. Your work will help increase building reliability and efficiency. With hands-on projects, valuable mentorship, and exposure to executive leaders, this is where you’ll grow, learn, and drive impactful change.
Real Estate and Facility Management – Building and Critical Environments Operations
You will work with the Real Estate and Facility Management team, consisting of approximately 60 highly experienced, as well as emerging members, 20 who share the building operations and critical environments focus. We have a fast-paced environment with diverse exposure to the industry. Innovative problem solving, attention to detail, accountability, and fun are essential.
Program Details
Duration: June 2 – August 8, 2025
Location: Springfield, MO or Monett, MO
Pay: $25.00/hour
What you’ll be responsible for:
Supporting building operations (approx. 15 locations) and critical equipment reliability (3 locations)
Preventive maintenance program development
Facility project support
Building automation (BAS) and maintenance management (CMMS) technology
What you’ll need to have:
Enrolled at an accredited university.
Pursuing a facility management, engineering, or similar degree.
Ability to work 40 hours per week throughout the duration of the internship program (June 2- August 8, 2025).
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without the need for sponsorship from Jack Henry.
What would be nice for you to have:
Academic or working experience with mechanical, electrical, industrial, operations and maintenance.
A basic understanding of facility management principles, critical equipment, and data center fundamentals.
Ability to analyze instructions, fulfill requirements, and document outcomes.
Strong sense of initiative and drive for results.
A passion and excitement for cross-collaboration and group work.
