Description

SAIC has an opening for an experienced Business Information Technology Tool Developer and Manager who can translate business process management requirements into effective digital tools. Develops and designs custom web-based applications, workflows, task management, and other data management tools in support of Discovery Systems Program Office business management needs. Guides the development of business tools by leading a cross-functional team across the Program Office to define requirements and perform development and integration to develop effective business management functions, workflows, repositories, and access controls. Ensures all tools comply with policies to protect sensitive materials from a wider audience.

Key duties/responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Work closely with DSPO Chief of Staff and functional leads to identify effectively develop, manage, and optimize Atlassian products and other web and data management solutions to enhance communication, automate organizational processes, develop cross-functional workflows, and implement digital strategies for efficient program management.

· Expertise in building and designing pages, workflows, and automated functions in Atlassian products and more with an emphasis on ease of use.

· Create and maintain Jira and Confluence collaboration sites (e.g. Kanban boards; Scrum boards, documentation pages, surveys, access control rosters, etc.)

· Design user experiences for both external and Internal-facing Confluence sites facilitating communication across the enterprise.

· Create custom projects in the Atlassian toot suite and other web-based applications.

· Analyze, research, manage, and implement integrated Atlassian tools, plugins, applications with other tools.

· Create training products and conduct regular training sessions to ensure optimal use of developed tools.

· Assist DSPO Chief of Staff with creating a framework to schedule, manage, and monitor all decisional topics through DSPO.

· Create mechanisms to track progress of tasks internal and external to DSPO, providing instantaneous insight into statuses of multiple complex projects across the SPO.

· Identify and design custom applications in other web-based applications for functions where Atlassian may not be applicable.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

· 5-7 years of experience in related field.

· Atlassian Tool Suite experience.

· Experience in custom SharePoint application design.

· Proven ability to effectively work with a diverse team of government, FERDC, and SETA contractors.

· Strong oral and written communication skills.

· TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Desired Qualifications

· Experience designing custom business applications in a senior executive environment.

· Intelligence Community Experience.
