PL/SQL Developer

Candidate must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years. This is a hybrid position, the candidate is required to come to the office 2 days per week, they are only looking for local candidates, not open to candidates that can relocate . Rockville, MD based health informatics solutions company, requires a PL/SQL Developer who designs, develops, debugs, documents, unit-tests, implements and deploys database objects . If selected for this position, he/she must follow company approved software development life cycle methodologies (SAFe Agile) and all processes as required from time to time. Description: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or highly specialized knowledge in software development and web application technologies and 5-8 years' experience in the field of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development. Interacts with the business analysis team to understand project requirements. Develops overall architecture/ product design documents, technical design specifications for individual modules and technology justifications for architectural considerations. Ensure integration of entire system or subsystem Develop database objects like packages/procedures/functions/triggers/type objects using SQL Developer to support application features. Expert knowledge of Oracle including troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning and code re-use. Familiar with JSON, DBMS packages, DBMS jobs. Familiar with Cloud-based implementations particularly AWS RDS. Understand, and implement additional frameworks like Oracle APEX. Knowledge of Atlassian tools to support Project Development activities in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Development environment. Applies Oracle standard coding practices and industry standards. Perform Code Reviews and Unit Testing of PL/SQL code developed by others in the team. Work with team members to develop program units that integrate seamlessly into the overall system. Develop the application using SAFe Agile Methodology. Knowledge of CMMI Level 3 processes Excellent oral and written communications skills Minimum 5 years' experience in: Oracle SQL PL/SQL Minimum 3 years' experience in: Oracle Weblogic, Apache HTTP (OHS) Oracle APEX, Javascript, CSS, XML SAML integration for Oracle APEX
