Responsibilities for
Nurse Practitioner:Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the physiological, psychological and emotional needs of the patientsObtain history and perform a physical examination to determine patient health statusFormulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement treatment plansIdentify patient health conditions and prescribe treatment based on diagnosisEvaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatmentAdmit and discharge patients from all units in the facilityConduct roundsSchedule and perform laboratory and diagnostic procedures
Qualifications
Qualifications for
Nurse Practitioner:Must hold a current unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in
North CarolinaCurrent DEA registrationAn appropriate collaborative agreement with the on-site PhysicianA valid CPR cardBe certified in a Board recognized by the American Board of Medical SpecialtiesMust possess strong written communication and verbal skillsHave strong computer skillsWe know you may have questions before applying.
