POSITION SUMMARY
Located in North America’s wind belt, Davenport is at the forefront of renewable energy technology and has remained home to one of our largest manufacturing facilities since 1927. Originally producing cereal, the factory became a pet food-only manufacturer in the late ‘90s and as the largest pet food manufacturing facility in the U.S., it carefully produces, packages, and ships several varieties of our Dog Chow®, Puppy Chow®, Alpo®, Beneful®, Purina ONE®, Cat Chow®, Friskies®, and Kit N Kaboodle® brands.
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Davenport. This mid-career position offers the unique opportunity to be a key business partner to our production teams and operations, ensuring excellence in HR support and employee relations.
Manage the recruiting process for hourly and salaried positions, including conducting interviews and building relationships with local colleges and the community.
Provide guidance and support on performance development, employee relations, policy interpretation, and investigations.
Lead and conduct investigations, ensuring fair and consistent application of rules and policies.
Support employee programs, including company events, charitable contributions, and service award programs.
Ensure compliance with regulations and lead audit reviews.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
3+ years in a professional Human Resources role
The approximate pay range for this position is $63,000 to $93,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
