Job Summary
ChromoLogic is actively engaged in multiple cutting-edge biomedical research and development programs and is in need of a Machine Learning Scientist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deep neural networks, transformers, and spiking neural networks. The candidate will demonstrate independence in the design and execution of experiments and is expected to lead on-going programs as well as develop new ones. The candidate must be self-motivated, have strong organizational skills and be able to work in a fast-paced interdisciplinary environment.
Job Duties
Lead and collaboratively participate in ongoing programs involving the development of machine learning applications.
Generate funding by proposing innovative solutions to problems.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to advance current research portfolio.
Prepare technical documents, such as publications, proposals, SOPs, and reports.
Qualifications
Broad experience developing algorithms including computer vision, video, 3D image analysis, and neuromorphic computing.
Experience with modern ML pipelines (Pytorch, Tensorflow, etc).
Demonstrated ability to quickly and effectively build prototype applications.
A PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Math, or another related field.
1-4 years of postdoc or industry experience preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and should be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in the form of written reports and proposals
US Citizen or US Permanent Resident due to government contract requirements
