Job Posting: Transportation Dispatcher
Position Purpose: Join Trinity Health PACE (TH PACE) as a Transportation Dispatcher, where you'll play a crucial role in managing the scheduling and coordination of transportation services for our participants. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee dispatching activities, ensuring timely and efficient door-to-door transportation while maintaining clear communication with drivers, transportation supervisors, and other key personnel.
What You Will Do:
Coordinate daily transportation operations, including scheduling and communication with drivers and other team members.
Reroute bus routes and adjust driver assignments to meet participants' needs effectively.
Manage the daily delivery of home meals, durable medical equipment, and pharmacy supplies.
Act as a backup driver if needed and maintain the transportation software program.
Ensure safe and timely transportation, handle delays or issues promptly, and support quality improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least one year of experience with frail or elderly populations, or willingness to undergo training.
Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Employee Medical Statement meeting North Carolina standards required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and transportation software, with strong organizational and communication skills.
