Volt is immediately hiring Dock Associates in Rock Island, IL

As a Dock Associate you will:

Physically unloading and loading trucks while maintaining a high level of organization during a specified shift to ensure freight is properly loaded and unloaded to facilitate on-time, error-free deliveries.Loads and unload freight using suitable material - handling equipment safely and efficiently. Utilize RF scanner to allow package tracking to ensure on time, error free delivery.Maintain accuracy when sorting out packages based on customer and delivery routes.Safeguard cross dock operations and contents by establishing and monitoring safety and security procedures and protocols.Ensures dock areas are clean and free of debris to prevent accidents and injuries.

This is a Full Time opportunity.

Monday - Friday

1st shift 5:00am - 1:30pm

2nd shift 1:30pm - 10:00pm

The ideal candidate will have:

High school diploma or equivalent experienceProven successful experience as a dock/warehouse team member.Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay Rate: \$18 /hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate\'s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
