Summary
Mission Technologies a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries is looking for a qualified individual to fill the role of a Systems Administrator for the Mobility Air Forces Distributed Mission Operations (MAF DMO) program in Orlando, FL. Qualified candidate will join a robust technology team that supports all DMO events, mission networks, site connection activities, cyber security and other related functions.
This role is NOT eligible for remote or hybrid work and is executed on-site.
What you must have
6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification.
Experience implementing and supporting RHEL and Windows NT based Operating Systems, as bare metal and VM installations
Experience configuring software, modifying software configuration and performing basic configuration management IAW with all STIGs and other Cybersecurity requirements
Experience maintaining core VMWare technologies including vCenter, ESXi, VSphere Networking and vMotion
Experience maintaining NetApp SAN technology
Basic knowledge of MECM application and update deployments
Experience analyzing network traffic and troubleshooting DIS/HLA packets using Wireshark, DPA, or similar software tools
Must be a US citizen, currently hold and able to maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Requirements
Experience designing, configuring, implementing and maintaining core VMWare technologies including vCenter, ESXi, VSphere Networking, vMotion, and Horizon
Experience configuring and maintaining NetApp SAN technology
Understanding of platform performance analysis, telemetry, and performance related troubleshooting
Experience configuring Cisco Routers, Firewalls, Nexus and Catalyst Switches
Experience maintaining Atlassian products including Jira and Confluence
Working knowledge of at least one Scripting language (Powershell, Python, Bash)
Experience building Application Packages, Automatic Deployment Rules and Task Sequences within MECM
Understanding of Ansible configuration and playbook deployments
Strong experience implementing best practices in an end user environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work assignments.
Understanding/Experience with IT audit and security assessment processes
What you will do
Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Duties Include
Design, Installation, support and maintenance of MAF mission network servers, computer equipment and connection of peripherals.
Configure software, modify software configuration and perform basic configuration management IAW with all STIGs and other Cybersecurity requirements to include JSIG.
Plan for and respond to service outages and other problems.
Work as part of project team in design and integration of Operational Testing & Training Infrastructure (OTTI) technologies and MAF DMO solutions to meet mission requirements.
Provide software application assistance for commonly used office automation applications and Modeling & Simulation tools.
Support Host Base Security System (HBSS) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions and continuous monitoring.
Implement client workstations software patches, security fixes and service releases.
Identify, analyze and document long-range requirements.
Must be able to travel to include internationally.

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
