Summary Palmetto GBA is one of the nation's largest providers of high-volume claims and transaction processing, contact center operations, and technical services to the federal government and other commercial customers. Position Purpose:Create test plans, matrices, and test cases for system changes. Identify, document, and resolve system-related problems. Track quality assurance metrics. Make recommendations to clients on how to improve testing activities.What You Will Do:Create and execute test cases. During the testing process monitor the system for exceptions and other items requiring post-test attention.Attend project meetings to provide feedback and input for design documents. Serve as liaison between customers and I/S development. Assist customers with questions regarding the testing process, defects, etc.Prepare written reports and analyses, including recommendations. Mentor and provide guidance to testing staff.To Qualify For This Position, You'll Need:Required Education:Bachelor's in a job related fieldOr 4 years job related work experienceOr Associate's and 2 years job related work experience
Required Work Experience:3 years of IT experience to include experience developing test plans and/or matrices.
Required Skills and Abilities:Good knowledge of EDP systems and procedures, and their integration with the users.Thorough understanding of data processing terminology, operations, and architecture utilized in debugging application/environmental problems.Good project planning, organization, and management skills.Thorough understanding of systems migration processes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
We Prefer That You Have:Experience with various SDLC methodology: (Waterfall, Agile);Experience in test preparation, test execution, peer review process to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met;Experience with test management tools like ALM/Confluence/JIRA is required;Experience creating and using Requirements Traceability matrices to manage testing scope and track defects;Any Agile Certification preferred.Experience with Medicare Integrated System Testing (MIST)1 - 3 years of Medicare Testing experience
Work Environment:
