A large medical center is looking for an additional Anesthesiologist to join an employed group consisting of 11 physicians and 20+ CRNA s that provide coverage at a 260-bed acute care facility in State College, PA. State College offers all of the luxuries of a college town including short commutes, NCAA Sports, Arts, high quality schools and outdoor recreation abounds with beautiful hiking and biking trails. Community based medicine is a plus! The physician will be provided a robust recruitment package.The Position:12 total OR s and an off-site Surgery Center with 4 OR s.1 OB Suite4 Endo/GI SuitesCall is approx. every 6 -7 days (Mix of first call and back up call)CRNA Medical Direction ModelMajor Service lines include: General, GU, OB, Spine, ENT, GYN, Plastic, Ortho, VascularLow Peds volumeNo Open-Heart Surgery and No HeadsCompensation Package:W2: $510-540k + benefits and a $20k annual quality bonusPTO: 9 weeksCME: 1 weekCME allowance $3,500 annuallySign-on bonus: $40k over 3 yearsLocated in Centre County, PA, State College, home to Penn State University, is a vibrant college town.
