005543PRIMARY FUNCTION :Provide support to the sponsored program accounting function by assisting management with all aspects of the sponsored program accounting function including billing, collections, reporting and related processing of accounting transactions.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Other roles and responsibilities for this position, will include but not be limited to:Assist in the management of the sponsored programs financial reporting function including the timely filing of required reports to sponsors.Assist in the management of billing and collection of sponsored program projects and related analysis of key operating metrics.Assist in the management of collection activities of sponsored program receivables and related valuation analysis of receivables.Assist with the preparation of TJUrsquo;s proposal for facilities and administrative cost rate.Function as a liason with auditors for annual financial statement audit and the OMB Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) Single Audit.Preparation of all reports related to audits of sponsored programs including the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA).Proficient user of enterprise information systems for grant accounting processes; including responsibility for reconciliation of revenue recognition, project direct costs, and indirect cost allocations for accuracy.Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.Bachelorrsquo;s degree required with concentration preferred in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related business degree; Masterrsquo;s degree preferred in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related business degree.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred,Certified Research Administrator (CRA) preferredJefferson includes Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health, a dynamic university and health system with broad reach across the Delaware Valley.
