We are seeking a Family Investment Office Staff Accountant to join our growing team. We are a prominent family Investment office dedicated to managing the financial affairs of high-net-worth individuals and their families. With a focus on providing comprehensive financial services, we strive to maintain the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all aspects of our operations.Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the financial management and reporting functions of the family investment office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and tax compliance.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze financial statements, monthly reports, and budget variances to ensure accuracy and completeness.Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury.Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate year-end audits and tax filings.Ad hoc reporting on family requests, handle special requestsPerform regular reconciliations of investment portfolios, ensuring accuracy and compliance with investment policies.Maintain documentation of financial transactions, policies, and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.Monitor cash flow and liquidity positions, and provide recommendations for optimizing cash management strategies.Collaborate with other team members to support special projects and initiatives as needed.Primary point of contact for Family OfficeStay updated on relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.1+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within a family office, public accounting firm, or financial services industry.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, , or similar platforms) and Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and prepare accurate reports.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated accounting professional to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment while supporting the financial objectives of high-net-worth individuals and families.
