DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Infosys is seeking a Wireless Network Engineer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications: * Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Philadelphia, PA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations. * Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. * At least 4 years of technical experience directly working with Wi-Fi / RF in computer architecture and data communications. * Experience with Wireless technology testing which includes Wireless AP's, Routers, Wireless extenders & Wireless standards (802.11b/g/n/ac/ax) * Knowledge of real-world wireless environments. * Experience working with TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6 addressing, Ethernet, DHCP, DNS, ICMP, ARP, NAT, Bridging, Switching. * Familiarity with industry standard Wi-Fi test tools like Veriwave, IXIA Chariot and packet debuggers like Wireshark, Omnipeek and Savius. * Has a technical background in secondary home networking technologies such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, MoCA, and Ethernet in a DOCSIS environment

Preferred Qualifications: * Familiarity with RF chambers Octoscope, Lindgren etc. * Comfortable in some scripting language of choice * Must be able to work independently * Strong background in designing or extending existing test frameworks * Excellent Debugging skills & experience troubleshooting * Working knowledge of UNIX-based systems and command-line tools for analysis, and automation Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Understanding of and experience with the full product development lifecycle, including functional and technical specifications, product use cases, user stories, implementation, QA processes, deployment and maintenance * Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams

The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
