The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time, non-tenure-eligible clinician-educator at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor for the position of director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Responsibilities include providing outstanding inpatient care to patients in the MICU, mentorship to junior faculty and fellows, and leadership of system-wide critical care initiatives across the ten Northwestern Medicine hospitals. Candidates with experience leading clinical trials and/or clinical and translational studies relevant to critical illness are particularly encouraged to apply.Qualified candidates will have an MD degree and be board certified in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.
