Join us aswe continue to provide solutions to our customers and the world!The Role:As the Project Management Document Technician, you will joinour LaVergne team and support sending and receiving all documentation from customers and suppliers, in addition to controlling internal and external deadlines for receiving/sending documentation. Monitors the process and keeps records of all document inputs and outputs while maintaining engineering, testing, and project specific documentation.Your Responsibilities:Performs Document Control functions within the Company's Document Management System.Track, monitor, maintain and work with specific project engineers on revision cycle times.Responsible for ensuring that all documentation is circulating according to the deadlines established in the project.Update document control to allow the project teams to take actions related to technical and commercial content with customers and suppliers.Performs document quality assurance audits by properly reviewing and assessing incoming and outgoing documentation and helps identify gaps and opportunities to improve current documentation methods.Customize documentation according to project requirements.Prepare customer submittals based on documentation prepared by the Design Engineer, or other team members.Analyze technical documentation from customers and suppliers, checking whether they are accurate and suitable for the scope of the project.Generate presentations, tables, and graphs as needed.Responsible for editing equipment manuals that will be reviewed by Design Engineering and Project Managers.Responsible for preparing and submitting Project Databook according to project requirements.Organize and revise documents to avoid mistakes that create re-work.Requirements:Two (2) year technical degree, diploma, or global equivalent preferred.Experience in a Document Control role preferred, but not required.Familiarity with database management, Microsoft office software including MS Projects & SharePoint document origination.Customer FocusedDevelop trust, collaboration and teamworkEffective cross-functional communications skillsResults orientedSkilled at prioritization and planningExceptional interpersonal communication & presentation skillsGeneral project management and computer skills
