Cost Accountant
to join their team and play a critical role in analyzing costs, ensuring financial accuracy, and driving profitability.Key Responsibilities :Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, ensuring accurate reporting of costs across the production cycle.Analyze manufacturing costs, prepare reports on production costs, and recommend areas for improvement.Monitor inventory transactions and perform periodic audits to ensure accuracy.Assist in month-end close of the general ledger, focusing on cost accounting.Prepare and analyze variances between actual costs and budgeted/standard costs.Collaborate with production teams to review operational performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.Prepare reports detailing fixed and variable costs for management review.Work with external auditors to provide necessary cost accounting documentation and support.Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies related to cost accounting.Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3+ years of experience in cost accounting within the manufacturing industry.Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).Benefits :Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.Health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with company match.Paid time off and company holidays.Opportunities for professional development and growth.#INOCT2024#LI-MT1#LI-Hybrid
