The Senior Accountant is an integral member of the General

Accounting team, participating in the accounting processes and controls over internal and external financial reporting.

2.0 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for month-end close journal entries associated with general accruals, cash transfers, AP reclasses, and prepaids.

·Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

· Preparation of key internal reports such as AP aging and outstanding checks listing.

· Preparation of monthly and quarterly analytical reporting including commentary on balance sheet and P&L variances.

· Ad hoc projects as required.

· Perform other such duties as may be required.

· Comply with all company policies and procedures.

· Business Travel land/air/overnight based on contract’s needs.

· Maintain a good status of your drivers license and passport

· Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting or Finance from four-year college or university, at least three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have account reconciliation experience. SAP experience preferred. Blackline experience preferred but not necessary.

Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Reasoning

Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer

Skills: Knowledge of ERP systems, and accounting, database, manufacturing, project management, spreadsheet, word processing and email software. SAP exp. preferred but not required.
