You will be responsible for preparing modifications of change orders, cost analyiss, pre negotiation plans and more.Duties include but are not limited to:Assists in the following: Preparationof modifications/change orders, preparation of cost analysis and pre-negotiationplans, evaluation and resolution of claims; participating in documenting final inspection,final acceptance, and preparation of close out documents; preparation of reports andother correspondence; interfacing with contractors and agency personnel; and other relatedwork andduties.Tracking changes and updating of change logs.Technical writing skills with ability to write technical scope for design and construction changes on design-built contracts.Assists client as required on negotiation of changes with contractorResearch of contract documents to determine merit of the design / construction change.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree - Engineering, Construction Management, Business or other relatedfield is desirable.Minimum of ten (10) years' experience performing technical support and evaluation of lump sum or provisional sum (time and materials) changes ranging from small to complex changes on large construction projects, and related contractsadministration work.Experience on large design-build contracts is required.Working in a responsible position where an individual has knowledge of construction work progress and an understanding of how contract changes, additional work and schedule delays affect the contractor's scope and work progress.Field experience with an understanding of construction change process is desirable.Work in a CM office co-located with agency staff is desirable.Valid California Class C DriverLicense
