We are in search of a dynamic and driven Tax Senior Associate to join our rapidly expanding public accounting team. The selected candidate will assume responsibility for overseeing and orchestrating tax compliance and advisory services for our clients. Responsibilities:
Prepare and evaluate intricate tax returns, encompassing federal and multi-state filings for C Corporations, S corporations, partnerships, high net worth individuals, trusts & estates, and foundations.Lead, coach, and mentor associates and interns on tax initiatives, while conducting performance assessments for engagement reviews.Conduct comprehensive tax research to remain current on tax laws and ensure the application of the most advantageous solutions to company operations.Engage with clients, delivering innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise.Collaborate closely with partners, managers, and staff, employing practice development skills within a team approach to client service and new business development.Manage engagement risk and financial performance, including billing, collections, and project budgets.Partner with a team of highly skilled professionals to comprehend our clients' needs, offering proactive solutions and advice.
Qualifications:
A CPA or CPA eligibility is mandatory.A minimum of 4 years of public accounting experience is essential.A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.Extensive experience in handling federal, state, and local tax matters, with international tax experience considered a plus.Experience across various industries, including manufacturing, construction, technology, real estate, and professional services, is highly advantageous.Proficiency in technical skills related to accounting and tax preparation, with industry specialization being a plus.Outstanding project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.A strong work ethic and adaptability to embrace new challenges and innovative ideas.This is a remarkable opportunity for a committed professional seeking to make a substantial impact within a dynamic, forward-looking firm.
