TRAVEL ONE WEEK PER MONTH IS REQUIREDYour focus will be delivering results against an organization's most complex business and technology initiatives. Success requires the ability to adapt and perform in numerous Product Management-oriented environments. In this position, your role as a Product Coach will require you to be a strategic partner and thought leader for an organization adopting a Product Model.Specific responsibilities for the Product Coach position include:Quickly establish collaborative partnership with key stakeholders and provide coaching at all levels in an emerging Product modelBecome a strategic partner to drive ROI and greater adoption for higher transformation successAssess the current delivery environment and recommend optimal Product approaches tailored to the culture and maturity of the organizationPerform in various Product roles, including VP of Product, Product Manager, etc. where neededCollaborate with Design and Technology team members at all levels of the organizationFacilitate backlog refinement, planning sessions, team touchpoints and retrospectivesInfluence at multiple levels (team, program, portfolio) of an organization and help implement recommended changesPerform hands-on project work as neededPrepare and deliver effective communications (written and verbal) regarding progressQualifications
Specific qualifications for the Product Coach position include:10+ years' experience working in Product roles3+ years' leading teams of Product teamsAbility to facilitate the delivery of and coach others to facilitate the creation of vision statements, personas, lean canvas, roadmap, etc.Product practitioner mindset with an understanding of common Product practices, value-driving oriented environments, and iterative development practicesKnowledge of Product frameworks/schools of thought and ability to put theory to practice while considering organizational culture resistance/adoptionAdvanced knowledge of Jira and/or Confluence or other Agile delivery toolsExperience with Value Stream Mapping and Lean product development leading practicesAbility to establish credibility, build consensus, and achieve goals through influenceAbility to establish and implement an effective work hierarchy across their organization and be able to coach the effective creation of Themes, Initiatives, Epics, Features, and User Stories user stories/epicsAbility to coach organizations on implementing identification and resolution of dependencies, and deliver optimal solutionsFlexibility to work with teams, individuals and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and peopleExcellent interpersonal/communication skillsAdditional Information
