OVERVIEW
Hendall Inc. is an industry-leading professional services contracting company, based in Rockville, Maryland, with an established record of providing critical support to various Federal Government agencies. Hendall provides a wide range of services, including survey research; data collection, processing, analysis, reporting, and dissemination; instructional design and eLearning development; communications and outreach; call center operations; and web and information technology. We are currently seeking a Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to drive growth and expansion of Hendall's presence and service offerings. The CGO will work closely with the CEO and other members of the executive team to identify and pursue new growth opportunities.
To be successful as the CGO at Hendall, you should be persuasive and have strong business acumen, have a proven track record identifying deals and winning new business, be adept at negotiating sound business deals, and demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. This is a hands-on position-the successful candidate will directly drive growth initiatives for Hendall leading to new contract wins.
DUTIES
The CGO will lead a team of individuals with primary business development responsibilities and proposal managers, while also conducting their own business development activities from deal identification, qualification, and capture to proposal development and submission. Duties include:
Developing and implementing a comprehensive growth strategy.
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including qualifying deals through stage gates and identifying and implementing strategies leading to the submission of proposals with a high win probability.
Monitoring and analyzing market trends and competitor activity.
Providing regular reports and updates on growth performance to other members of the executive team.
Advising the executive team on enterprise booking targets and strategies to achieve them.
Serving as a key member of the executive team and contributing to the overall direction and strategy of Hendall.
Establishing and developing strategic relationships with other industry partners.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of executive-level business growth experience.
Proven ability to identify new business opportunities and win revenue-generating contracts.
Strong leadership skills.
Strategic mindset with ability to make difficult decisions.
Ability to communicate, present to, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
Strong analytical and project management skills.
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including listening, negotiation, and presentation.
Salary Range: $175,000 to $250,000 per year
