Position will interact with facility CEOs and CFOs; facility Business Office Managers; corporate personnel and government agencies.This opportunity provides the following:UHS offers a challenging and rewarding work environmentGrowth and development opportunities within UHS and its subsidiariesCompetitive CompensationExcellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plan.401k plan with company matchGenerous Paid Time OffRESPONSIBILITIES:Complete month-end close for assigned facilities, including monthly account reconciliations.Assist the Regional Financial Director in the review of month end close and help reconcile problem accounts.Assist in the completion of cost reports.Assist facility Administrators and accounting personnel on accounting related questions and problems.Assist facilities in development and maintenance of the APC/DOI reports and completion of state and federal reports.Perform special projects for Administrators, Regional Financial Directors, and Regional Vice Presidents.Assist in the completion of work papers assigned for external audits as well as work with auditors on any audit related issues.Assist Regional Financial Director in the preparation of the annual budget for all assigned facilities, including annual tax packages.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all required reports and accounting data to meet applicable financial deadlines.About Universal Health ServicesOne of the nation's largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc. EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:* Bachelor's degree in accounting and 3-5 years experience as a staff accountant.* Self starter, team player, strong communication skills, customer oriented, leadership skills.*
