Shall lead Mission Critical Mobile Builds and ImplementationThe OpportunityMobile Platform Engineering shall oversee all aspects of Mobile Development for Next Gen Mobile Product Portfolio :Strategic Technical Engineering Development & ArchitectureGuidance/Oversight: Code Reviews-Release ManagementLead Mission Critical IOS BuildsDirect Report to VP of EngineerEnvironmentWorld Class E-Commerce Mobile PlatformGreenfield IOS Mobile EngineeringProgressive/Innovative CulturePrestigious Industry Gold Standard Ecomm Product PortfolioRemote for foreeable futureRequisite Skills /Experience5-19 Years Plus Mobile Application Development ExpertiseIOS Expertise-Drive Technical Development of Mobile ProductsEcommerce PlatformsResponsibilities & Skills Required: Objective-C, Swift 5.5, and C++ as required by Apple frameworksBroad iOS API experience, including but not limited to Local Authentication, WebKit, NetworkingDeep knowledge of iOS programming concepts, including but not limited to Threading, Crash Analysis, SwizzlingJavaScript programming using Node, and Hybrid App debugging via SafariGit submodulesNPM package publishingCordova command line tools the latest Xcode, xcodebuild, application loader, and iOSYour day-to-day may include some of these tasks: Create and maintain custom Cordova plugins, including hooksPerform annual maintenance on the codebase and automated build scripts to keep pace with changes to iOS and XcodeMaintain certificates and signing, including certificate pinning, provisioning profiles, and push notification certificatesMonitor production feedback, crash reports, and analytics and address issuesWork with infrastructure teams to address proxy, software and administrative privilege issues that impact iOS development or build processesTrain web application developers how to build and debug a hybrid appThis is a full-time position and is expected to be at least one year in duration. The candidate must work on-site, as device debugging via USB will be required.
