ROLEThe Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports the Project Manager as the lead administrative person on the Project. The APM manages the Project documents, including financials, construction documents and sub-contractor submissions.

The APM also ensures the orderly flow of information between I-Grace, subcontractors and vendors.RESPONSIBILITIESMaintains updated budgets, logs, and Buyout worksheets, processing Change Orders and Trade Awards, processes subcontractor/vendor invoices, and prepares Waivers of Lien.Assists in estimating process by interacting with Subcontractors and performing take offs.Prepares Commitment documents and contracts with subcontractors and suppliers as directed by Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or Project Executive.Participates in the buy-out of minor scopes (i.e. glazing, bath accessories, etc.).Orders incidental materials and tools for the field and prepares in-house schedules (i.e. doors, hardware, accessories, etc.), at the direction of the Project Manager or Superintendent.Disseminate, track, update and file all Architectural, Engineering and Consultant Drawings and Specifications, SK’s and other Submittals (i.e. RFI’s, Shop Drawings, and samples) and maintain associated logs.Assists Project Manager in preparation of Project Reports such as field, meeting minutes, tracking logs, and change orders.Prepares and revises punch list in cooperation with the Superintendent and Project Manager.Maintains Project Files as per Company policy.Prepares the Owner’s Manuals, in cooperation with the Site Superintendent and Project Manager, for delivery to the Owner or Building Management (if applicable).REQUIREMENTS2+ years of construction experience, preferably residential, luxury retail or tenant improvement.Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management degree preferred.Expertise in MS Office Suite.Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Autodesk Build and Sage 300/Timberline preferred.COMPENSATIONWeekly compensation is commensurate with experience and could range from $70k to $100k annually.
