Overview

As our RN Resident (New Grad) at CHI St. Vincent, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you’ll make the transition from practicing procedures as a student to becoming a professional nurse. You’ll build trust with your clinical preceptor and patients as you practice classroom concepts in real-time. Our residency program establishes your position as a reliable resource and helpful supporter of patients and families. The Fall Residency will start February 2025.

Success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others and to put your classroom experience into practice. We’ll teach you everything you need to know about working at our hospital, making this a perfect starting point to launch your nursing career.

CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is a 280 bed faith-based, non-profit, Magnet Accredited facility providing quality health care to patients and communities from all over the State of Arkansas. As the only level II trauma center in the southwest part of the state, CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is the regional referral center for cardiology, trauma, neuro, ortho, oncology and critical care/pulmonary. Responsibilities

You’re in patient rooms, quickly rotating between immediate needs and check-ins to provide patient care while being monitored by your preceptor

Open to learning more about the business and operational practices in our facility

Develop patient advocate skills through observance and practice

Build your nursing skills as you learn to put your education into practice with actual patients

We are offering a $10,000 Sign On Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Qualifications

Associates Degree In Nursing.

Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Arkansas Board of Nursing

Active Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)

$31.75 - $41.89 /hour
