Posting Description
MANAGER, HR TECHNOLOGY, Human Resources, to work with the associate director, HR technology to identify business-process and data needs for all central HR areas and help create long-term strategies. Will support other central HR leaders with the planning, development, and implementation of business processes and end-user training; manage day-to-day operations of the HR technology team; lead a team of business systems analysts, data analysts, a software developer, and IT administrators who support central HR’s functional business areas and those across MIT in their reliance on HR data and systems; work with the Office of the Vice President for Finance's IT team to oversee the technology systems administration and security for local databases and application servers, establishing and updating operating procedures to maintain standards and ensuring system stability; maintain software licensing and property inventory for the central HR department; work closely with HR analytics to support HR reporting needs, including ad-hoc and standard reports; develop project plans and monitor progress of HR technology initiatives; and oversee and approve HR testing plans with MIT IS&T for upgrades and functional enhancements. Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in a related field; at least five years of relevant experience; five years of project management experience; knowledge of business analysis concepts and processes; experience with most of the following: reporting tools, ERP systems, Software as a Service (SaaS) systems, and HR data; and ability to work effectively toward goals in a complex and collaborative environment with multiple and changing demands. PREFFERED: experience with SAP or cloud ERP systems such as Workday or Oracle Cloud, reporting and data analytics, and working in higher education.
