Director of Integrity & Compliance Policy , you will lead the development and improvement of Alcon's ethics and compliance policy framework, promoting a culture of ethics and integrity throughout our operations. Reporting to the Vice President and Global Head of Integrity & Compliance, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing strategies to operationalize our ethics and healthcare compliance policies. In this role, a typical day will include:Take charge of planning, developing, implementing, and continuously improving global I&C policies, procedures, and related tools to align with regulatory requirements and standard processes.Recommend and lead decisions on global ethics and healthcare compliance policy positions and provide global guidance on policy interpretation.Responsible for horizon scanning of changes in external regulations and events impacting the compliance policy landscape and implement policy improvement to address identified gaps and risks.Provide global policy related support to affiliates worldwide.Collaborate and coordinate with other Global Integrity & Compliance and Legal leaders, as well as cross-functional leaders and other subject matter experts (e.g., Commercial, Medical, Government Affairs, Finance, etc.) to advise I&C policies including the Code of Business Conduct.Lead all aspects of the disclosure and management process for conflicts of interest for associates and new hires.Preferred Requirements:
Medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry relevant professional experience advising on healthcare compliance policies, industry code requirements (e.g., AdvaMed, MedTech, PhRMA, etc.) and other ethics and compliance mandates.Solid understanding of global fraud and abuse, fair competition, and human rights, risks and related regulations.Outstanding ability to communicate effectively through both written and verbal means, with significant experience in crafting company ethics and compliance policies and mentorship materials that are clear, concise, and easily comprehensible.Validated organizational and project management skills and ability to complete through others.Demonstrated ability to partner with other functions globally, establish positive relationships and build credibility to influence vital policy changes.What you'll bring to Alcon:
