Job Description
The PMX Growth Organization is responsible for accelerating Groupe transformation to high growth businesses and solutions through the development of company-wide strategies for new market entry, client development, and integration.
The Growth Operations team is responsible for supporting the Chief Business Officer to develop, deploy, and manage key Groupe growth strategies across primary product pillars. The team is responsible for commercial pricing/management, KPI tracking, and overall strategic analysis of the business health/growth. The team is consistently working to fine tune the agency model and client experience.
A Growth Operations Contract Director is responsible for the collection, management, and understanding of client contracts spanning multiple Publicis products and solutions. He/she should immerse him/herself in the business in order to affect change/encourage growth. Contract management is key to understanding expected revenue trends.
The Director role will involve creating and implementing a strategic vision for contract maintenance processes to ensure comprehensive oversight of all client commercial structures. Daily tasks will include designing contract repositories, assisting with revenue forecasts, and liaising with client/agency stakeholders to ensure proper commercial agreements. This position provides unique insights into commercial model details that directly impact revenue, product health, and commercial modeling across the Publicis portfolio, requiring collaboration with various teams including finance, agency client teams, and key stakeholders within the Growth organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage commercial data processing and reporting for all Publicis products
Establish and maintain a client contract repository, enhancing data integrity
Develop and implement a contract negotiation strategy to optimize terms and conditions for client agreements, ensuring favorable outcomes for the organization.
Conduct regular contract reviews to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and risk mitigation.
Collaborate with legal counsel to review and draft contract language, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Implement best practices for contract lifecycle management, including tracking key milestones, renewals, and terminations.
Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to proactively address potential impacts on contract management practices.
Develop training programs for internal teams on contract management processes, ensuring alignment with best practices and company standards.
Maintain product/practice boilerplate language for correct implementation and compliance
Collaborate with agency finance and PM business affairs to insert language into client agreements
Demonstrate a strong understanding of Publicis Practices/Products to drive commercial implementation
Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality work
Proactively identify and resolve issues before they escalate
Act as a subject matter expert in Publicis Groupe business, disciplines, and commercial details
Develop and implement contractual compliance processes for existing and new growth products/acquisitions
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in legal, finance/commercial finance, business affairs, media/contract operations, or related roles at an advertising agency or media company
Familiarity with agency operations, digital advertising business models, and Advertiser T&Cs
Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to innovate processes
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and a strong desire to learn
Comfortable managing complexity and ambiguity in a matrixed environment
Proficient in multitasking, project management, and initiative-taking
Excellent analytical and Excel skills, including vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas; proficiency in Smartsheet and Tableau is a plus

Compensation Range: $91,000 - $154,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
