Wed 6:00am-6:00pmHOURLY RATE: $25.28SUMMARYThis person is a member of a shipping/receiving crew that coordinates and expedites the flow of materials for production.You will move necessary materials to and from a production staging area to support individual daily work orders and shift schedules.Responsibilities:Lives the Owens Corning Safety Standard and meets all safety requirements. Safety is a condition of employment.Participates in plant TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives - completing activities associated with TPM tasks.Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with shift supervisors to determine material requirements to be staged.Issues/requisitions and/or transfer materials from warehouse.Compiles and maintains computerized records such as material inventory, in process production reports and status and location of materials.Operates a forklift to assist in loading and or moving material and products.

Requirements:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Perform daily check list for forkliftMinimal of two-three years of forklift experience

Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate.

Can and is willing to make decisions. Knows the chain of command to get support.

Regular attendance on site and the ability to rotate varying shifts.

Demonstrated desire to impact safetyMust be able to work independently or in a team atmosphere with minimal direct supervision
