Your JobGeorgia-Pacific, LLC is now hiring a Materials Manager for our Jonestown Mailer's facility. In this role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of materials necessary to produce corrugated mailers. This role ensures that the plant operates efficiently by maintaining optimal inventory levels, sourcing quality materials at competitive prices, and managing supplier relationships. The Materials Manager also plays a key role in coordinating with production and other departments to ensure seamless operations.Our TeamThe team at Jonestown, PA specializes in the Mailers operations. What You Will DoMaintain optimal inventory levels to support production schedules while minimizing excess stockCreate production schedule limiting down time due to changeoversEnsure all product is stored correctly and efficientlyAddress issues with receipts/invoices that require additional attention from the site in a timely mannerCoordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within the plantMonitor and manage material costs to align with budgetary constraints and financial targetsEnsure all materials and procurement processes comply with relevant industry standards, regulations and company policiesProvide training, support and performance feedback to ensure a high-performing and motivated teamPromote a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices in material handling and storageWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Previous experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain management in a manufacturing environmentPrevious experience using inventory management software and ERP systemsPrevious experience working with both internal and external stakeholdersMust have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

What Will Put You AheadBachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field5+ years' experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain management in a manufacturing environmentPrevious experience in the corrugated packaging industry* Previous experience in warehouse operationsPrevious experience and the ability to track/monitor data and be able to present a data story to various levels of leadershipAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
