Pathways Program Manager
Oversee recruitment of historically underserved high school and college students to participate in summer pathway programs as part of a long-term investment to diversify the public health workforce and improve health equity; 2) Oversee securing of internship sites, projects and mentors for summer pathway programs that will contribute to the fulfillment of the programs' intended short-term outcomes for participants: interest in public health, knowledge of public health concepts, knowledge of health equity/SDOH, and awareness of public health career opportunities; 3) Develop and provide training and ongoing support to mentors thereby enhancing experiences for both mentors and mentees; 4) Provide administrative and logistical oversight to the internship placement sites thereby enhancing experiences for both the interns and internship sites and 5) Engage scholars in experiential and didactic opportunities to increase awareness and knowledge of public health.MPH or related experience preferred.Job Summary
Supports and administers strategic initiatives for executive leadership and leadership of the school and assists executive leadership in development and facilitation of education-related goals. Organizes and coordinates projects and ensures timely project deliverables.Essential Functions
Demonstrated skill working in a fast-paced environment, attention to accuracy and detail, prioritizing diverse and competing tasks, and ability to fluidly change course, when necessaryPerforming data collection activities, such as program applications, and maintaining recordsCorresponding with potential and selected program students, internship sites, program investigators, and internal and external stakeholders via phone, email, face-to-face, and on virtual platformsDrafting and modifying program correspondenceAbility to maintain confidentialityExperience with data management tools such as Microsoft Suite and QualtricsCarrying out program event duties, such as catering, room assessments, maintaining complete and up-to-date records for each eventAttend and participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development workshopsAbility to cultivate relationships with external organizationsOccasional evenings and weekends will be requiredAbility to drive and//or use public transportation if needed
Physical Effort
Must be able to sit, walk, and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
