We are seeking a dependable and organized

Class A Hostler Night Truck Driver.

The Yard Hostler is responsible for moving trailers around, loading and unloading products. The Yard Hostler is also responsible for trailer and tire inspections, ensuring vehicles are safe for transport. The Hostler will also deliver loads when necessary. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience. Previous Hostler experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills are needed for this role. The hours are 7 pm 5 am, Sunday Thursday.

Other voluntary benefits, direct deposit, employee discount programTruck Driver Job Duties and Responsibilities:Fully understand how to operate and safely drive a tractor trailer.

Transport goods from the place of origin to assigned destination.

Ensure contents are properly secured inside of the truck to prevent breakage or damage.

Load and Unload materials as needed on trucks on the yard.

Inspect trailers and tires to ensure they are safe to drive.

Must maintain a high level of communication with Drivers, Dispatch, and other yard personnel.

Must be able to ensure a smooth and efficient loading process and movement of trailers.

Confirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document.

Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip.

Notify managers of any major maintenance issues or loading/unloading issues.

Adhere to company rules and regulations.

Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions.

Comply with DOT regulations and always make safety a priority.Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications:

Valid Class A driver s license required.

1-2 years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving preferred.

Clean driving record with no more than 1 moving violation.

Must pass a background check and DOT drug and alcohol test.

Skilled at driving large vehicles.

Comfortable maneuvering, parking, and backing a tractor-trailer.

Alert, focused, and detail oriented.

Proficient in using GPS and E-log systems.

Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.
