Sodexo is seeking a full-time

Registered Dietitian

for a Lifestyle Coordinator position in the Outpatient Bariatric Medicine department at Lehigh Valley Health Network in

Allentown, PA .

The RDN will perform the initial assessment of patients via telehealth referred to the Bariatric Medicine program, as well as teach group classes and occasional one on one appointments.

The successful candidate will:serve as a Patient Navigator for the Weight Management Center, helping to guide and educate patients on options for weight management;have excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups;possess excellent time management and organizational skills;assist with program development, promotion/marketing, screenings and patient recruitment;have effective written and verbal communication for all hospital and departmental programs and activities; andassist and support departmental program evaluation and outcome measurement activities.Is this opportunity right for you? Basic Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
