AKA NYC is seeking a Copywriter who will be responsible for assisting in development of branding, producing campaign copy (including scripts for radio and motion), crafting social tone of voice, and proofreading deliverables across select theatrical, arts and entertainment-based accounts. The Copywriter is a full-time position that is based in New York City.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Creative Ideation and Execution
Support the Creative Leadership team in delivering creative of the highest standard within budget and timeframe.Craft copy and campaign language across all media and maintain branding for assigned accounts.Assist in crafting creative strategy as assigned.Craft social tone of voice, captions, and related copy.Integrate creative across traditional, social and digital platforms.Ensure quality control of all copy across assigned campaigns.Work both autonomously and collaboratively to provide useable creative and strategic copy across multiple shows.Take briefs and collaborate effectively with client/Client Services /Studio Manager/Art/Motion Departments.Help develop processes and procedures that improve efficiency and functionality of the department.Communication
Keep Creative Leadership team updated daily on project progress.Liaise with Creative Leadership team for direction and support on copy projects.Keep Studio Manager/Client Services updated on your workflow and changes in scope of projects.WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
3-5 years of experience in copywriting positions, ideally servicing the entertainment or related industry.Demonstrate mastery of advanced copywriting techniquesA creative portfolio demonstrating a track record of delivering highly creative and effective cross-platform creative copy and ideas.A love of entertainment and pop cultureExcellent presentation skills and communication skills.Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills.Degree in Writing, Journalism, English, Film, Media, Communications, related field of equivalent work experience.WHAT WE OFFER:
