Shift: 1st Shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, giving you evenings and weekends off)

Pay Rate:

Up to $23/hr. (Depending on experience)

is seeking a dedicated welder to support a leading industrial manufacturer in Richmond, VA.

Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate torches, plasma cutters, and grinders in various positions, following engineering drawings.Perform MIG welding in vertical, flat, horizontal, and overhead positions.Inspect workpieces for defects and ensure compliance with specifications.Complete welding on components previously tack welded, including prep and finishing by grinding or sanding.Operate material handling equipment, including overhead cranes and hoists, to move and store materials safely.Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including welding helmet, gloves, protective apron, steel-toe shoes, and respirator as necessary.Perform some TIG welding as needed.What You Need to Succeed:

Experience & Education:

High School Diploma or GED with 3.5-5 years of recent MIG welding experience in manufacturing.Technical Skills:

Ability to read shop drawings, blueprints, and engineering documents; strong math skills and mechanical aptitude.Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear required PPE for welding tasks.Bonus Skills:

TIG welding experience and knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards) are a plus.What You Need to Succeed:

Experience & Education:

Proficient in reading shop drawings, blueprints, and engineering documents. Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude.Physical Ability:

Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and wearing the required personal protective equipment.Bonus Skills:

TIG welding experience and familiarity with ERP systems (JD Edwards) are a plus.
